Our Team
Chief Executive Officer William E Moore
Mr. Moore brings over 20 years of rail operations and planning experience to EME Rail Solutions LLC. After graduating from Saint Joseph's College with his B.S. in Business Management, he began working in the rail industry as an Operations Manager with Central Intermodal Inc. at the Union Pacific Railroad, IMX Terminal in Chicago. In 2004, began working as a brakeman (assistant conductor) at the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway. In late 2004, Mr. Moore became a qualified train dispatcher and Assistant Chief Dispatcher for the E.J.&E Rwy. After the E.J.&E. was acquired by the CN in 2009, William graduated with his Masters of Business Administration from Purdue University and continued in his a RTC with CN. In 2015, Mr. Moore began working as a Yardmaster in Chicago for Amtrak. Along with running the day to day operations of EME Rail Solutions LLC, Wiliam is currently the Director of Safefy, Rules Compliance and Discipline for HH Intermodal based out of Bartlett, IL.
Our history
EME Rail Solutions LLC was founded on March 29,2014. That date was significant to CEO, William E Moore, because it was his 10 year anniversary of rail service time according to the Railroad Retirement Board. At that time, William was working as a Rail Traffic Controller for the Canadian National. William recognized that there were areas in rail operations that had knowledge gaps and he wanted to address them. Since that time EME Rail Solutions LLC has completed a rail crossing study in Northwest Indiana and provided additional support and expertise for a transportation group.
